| A
new survey of IT professionals in the
UK has revealed a severe lack of management
commitment to the client's problem.
The research reveals that 36 per cent
of those questioned felt that their managers
did not appreciate the urgency of their situation and 30
per cent believe that too few IT professionals
had been assigned to deal with projects within
their companies. One third of the organisations
interviewed have not even started work
on their problems. Nine out of ten expected
to spend less than a quarter of their
time over the coming two years preparing
their IT systems for the year ahead, and
an incredible 35 per cent expected to
spent no time at all on the tasks.
